From the Bakethin car park cross over the Kielder Burn using the Butterhaugh Bridge, head around the sewage works and then pick up the track heading north east through the trees towards the fire observation tower. You may need to push through the trees to get to the tower.

This will then open out to the area where the Grey's Pike trig point is located.
